Lion King (Ages 4 - 8)

Join us this fall for an unforgettable journey to the African savanna in our Petite Production of The Lion King KIDS! Tailored for young performers, this exciting program teaches the fundamentals of musical theatre—acting, singing, and dancing—through the magic of storytelling. Students will bring iconic characters like Simba, Rafiki, and Nala to life while learning classic songs such as “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Hakuna Matata.” Along the way, they’ll build confidence, develop stage presence, and discover the joy of performing with others. With a final performance of a shortened version of the show, every child gets a moment to shine in this fun, nurturing, and inspiring experience!

Once upon a time, in a faraway swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. When he finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions, Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront him. But when he challenges Farquaad, he is then handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek KIDS is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.
