At Broadway Babies and Kids, we believe that a proper dress code enhances the learning environment and prepares students for the discipline of dance and performing arts . This policy is designed to ensure safety, prevent injury, and allow teachers to see the performer's body for correct positioning and movement.
Most dress code pieces can be found on our Shop Nimbly website www.shopnimbly.com/bbk. Navigate to your performers program for specific uniforms. Below is the base of each uniform. Additional required uniform pieces can be found on Shop Nimbly.

We have made it convenient for all of our families to shop 24/7 on our dress code website www.shopnimbly.com/bbk . All uniform orders will be delivered straight to your doorstep in 5-10 business days. Additional uniform pieces like Broadway Babies and Kids T-Shirts for Acting or Broadway Vocal Choir can be purchased at the studio.
We require all students to arrive with clean hair pulled back out of their face in either a pony tail or bun. All ballet programs require a ballet bun. BOYS - hair should be clean and out of the face.
Most dress codes are similar outside of our ballet programs. We recommend wearing your dress code for your first program and layer up for other classes. If you have time in between classes, you can change in our restrooms.
Trial Students - We do not require students trialing our programs to be in proper dress code, please wear any dance appropriate pieces if you have them. Alternatively, please have your performer wear stretch leggings, t-shirt and socks with grippies. Once enrolled, you will be required to purchase their uniform.
Enrolled Students - Students not adhering to the dress code may be asked to observe class rather than participate. Repeated disregard for the dress code will result in a conference with the student and parents/guardians. If after that conference, dress code is still being violated, enrollment may be terminated.
