TV/FILM CASTING WORKSHOP with Hollywood Casting Director Paul Ruddy

Bettina Devin, will join forces with Emmy Award-winning L.A. casting director, Paul Ruddy. Paul will share his own journey, from mail room to owning his own Casting Business. Paul offers endless eye-opening (and EDUCATIONAL) stories about La La Land. You will have the chance to show him whatcha’ got in the scenes he will choose for those who attend. Cold reading, adjustments (if needed), and then a Q&A that springs out of the work will be done in class. Please come with questions you’ve always wanted to ask a casting director, but never had the chance (or courage) to ask! Don’t be shy! He’s a great guy!

Paul is known for being a genuinely empathetic champion of actors of all ages. Paul will give you fascinating and important insights into the REAL INDUSTRY from a busy (SUPER BUSY!) casting person’s viewpoint. He has been responsible for giving many actors their first real breaks, as well as helping to introduce them to their first solid stepping stones as far as representation goes. Many of Bettina’s students can attest to this. He is positive, but always honest in his feedback. WORKSHOP Saturday, March 11, 11-1pm Class held over ZOOM.
